Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Candidates who are in the final year or final semester of graduation can also apply provisionally. However, they must produce proof of passing graduation on or before 30 September 2026.
Candidates having qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and other equivalent qualifications are also eligible.

The age limit will be calculated as on 01 April 2026.

SBI PO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Psychometric Test

Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next phase of the recruitment process.
For final selection, marks obtained in Main Examination and Interview/Group Exercise will be considered. Preliminary Examination marks will not be included in the final merit list.

SBI PO Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of Rs. 48,480/- along with four advance increments. The pay scale is:
