Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can apply for the Prelims Exam, but they must submit their final degree before the Mains Exam.
Age Limit (as on 23-03-2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Gujarat origin only): 5 years
- Women (General Category): 5 years
- Women (SC/ST/OBC/EWS): 10 years
- PWD Candidates: Up to 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Length of military service + 3 years

The selection process consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
