Aadhar Card Update : Deadline for free updating of Aadhaar card extended, know the complete process

If your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old, you can update it through either the online or offline process.

Update Aadhaar Online:

The Central Government has extended the deadline for free Aadhaar card updates until 14th June. Previously, the deadline was 14th March.

You can update your Aadhaar card for free on the myAadhaar portal. This decision was announced by UIDAI through social media.

To update your Aadhaar online:

  1. Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
  2. Log in using your Aadhaar number and OTP.
  3. Verify the information related to your identity and address on your profile.
  4. If the details are correct, click “Verify.” If not, upload new identity or address proof documents as needed.

Update Aadhaar Offline:

To update Aadhaar offline:

  1. Visit https://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar/.
  2. Find the nearest Aadhaar center by entering your location or PIN code.
  3. Collect information about the Aadhaar center where you can update your Aadhaar.
